• Selah 50th Anniversary Documentary

Selah, Bamberger Ranch Preserve is a 5,500-acre ranch in Blanco County that has been restored to its original habitat, with a mission to teach ethical land stewardship — by example and outreach. The 50th Anniversary documentary details the story of how Bamberger Ranch Preserve came to be.

    Mission and Vision

The mission of Bamberger Ranch Preserve is to protect and keep in good health and balance the 5,500 acres of land under its ownership, to educate the public about stewardship of the land, and to awaken and nourish a passion for learning about nature in both children and adults.

We envision a world where landowners are empowered by knowledge of conservation oriented natural resource management, guided by sound land stewardship practices. We intend to cultivate this vision beginning right here at home in Central Texas.

  • Selah – to reflect, to pause, to take a moment in the natural world.

We invite our supporters and visitors of Bamberger Ranch Preserve to take a moment to stop, pause, and reflect on the healing power of nature. We also ask visitors to reflect on our responsibility as humans to nurture our environments and steward it well for the benefit of future generations.
