Scavenger Hunt Hiking and Camping Experience. Fundraiser Pricing: $2,500

Enjoy a beautiful day of guided or self-guided GPS hiking on the BRP with special hidden geocaches for you to find along the way of your hiking trek! Geocaches will be surprises from Selah swag, exciting nature tools, to tasty brews and snacks. This experience for up to 4 people is ideal for anyone who loves to hike and loves surprises. The experience will begin with an easy 3 mile one-way hike to lunch. You will see vistas and the lake on our Vision Trail, hear sounds of riparian birds on the Rachel Carson Trail, and then learn all about the different plants of the BRP on our Arboretum Trail. Take a break and enjoy your lunch at Madrone Lake before continuing. (Coolers are welcome as we will transport your sack lunch and libations to the Madrone Lake patio). After lunch, your hiking trek will begin again following the creek along the Jane Goodall Trail, leading into the Louis Bromfield Trail where your camp site waits for the evening in beautiful Turkey Hollow. This experience is perfect for experienced hikers who scoff at the idea of a small 4 mile day hike with the hike ending in an evening camping under the stars. Dates flexible for weekday and weekend bookings around our education events. Suggested dates during March 13th to 20th during Spring Break.
