Events Status and Coronavirus Update (April 2021)

As the coronavirus pandemic continues across the country, as an institution the Bamberger Ranch Preserve must continue to take the COVID-19 crisis seriously. On Monday, January 4th, 2021, the coronavirus hit home, as we lost our dear friend and ranch engineer Leroy Petri. Until we can figure out how to safely operate and open up to the public with new social distancing guidelines in place, we at the Bamberger Ranch have determined it is necessary to suspend all general public programs and public tours until further notice. Under the current guidelines and because of our commitment to the health and safety of our guests and employees, it is not currently possible to schedule our traditional tours and workshops.

We are happy to report that we are now accepting reservations for Private Tours. Please contact us at to inquire about availability.

We are also taking inquires for virtual speaking engagements or seminars. If you or your organization would like to a BRP Staff Member to give a presentation please contact us.

We will continually work on alternative programs and virtual content through our Facebook and Instagram, with the goal of providing a virtual “Selah” experience.

We wish all our friends, volunteers and supporters health and patience as we continue to monitor the situation and we will be providing updates as more information becomes available.

If you would like to help us care for one of Texas’ great conservation and education models, your online donation will help us to ensure Selah is here for you in the future.
