Whether you have Wildlife Tax Valuation on your land, plan to apply for it in the future, or don’t have it at all, the techniques and management practices listed under the Tax Code for Wildlife Valuation all benefit your wildlife populations and diversity.
There are 7 categories of management listed under the tax code, three of which are required for approval for the valuation status. We will demonstrate practical and doable enhancements and additions including, but not limited to feral hog trapping, prescribed burns, unique water capture methods, and bird and wildlife census data collection.
A special session on identifying venomous/nonvenomous snakes will be included. This 8-hour workshop (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) includes a nice deli lunch. Dress for the weather.
