Following the agenda of a very successful overnight program the Bamberger Ranch Preserve has conducted for inner-city 5th graders since 2004, we are pleased to offer a Science Camp for Teachers 2012. Along with the award-winning educational staff of Selah, guest experts from the fields of rangeland ecology, paleontology, astronomy and biology will provide an excellent learning opportunity for science teachers who teach grade levels 3-5. This workshop offers approximately 30 hours of instuction, (3 CEUs) and the ranch is certifed by the Texas State Board of Education. This workshop is funded largely by a private foundation; the cost to attend is $50 and covers all meals, lodging at the Center and interpretation.
