We have heard past guests' requests and we respond with: More ranch tours! More wildlife presentations! More activities for adults and children! For example:
- try Rock Rolling for Conservation with JDavid! Want a hands-on opportunity to directly and immediately help conserve water? Join JDavid on the top of our recharge zone and help a project that been reported on by the Austin American Statesman and the Texas Wildlife Association magazine.
- Or a new zip line for kids!
- Or afternoon story telling with Mr. Bamberger! Share the importance of conserving your own family heritage through story telling.
As in past years we will have kids' crafts, face painting, ranch tours, fossil digs, silent auction, native plant sale and a delicious lunch prepared by the Bexar Grotto caving society. Contact Anne Donovan to register early or contact us and we'll make you an invitation and agenda of the days' activities. This picnic promises to be better than all others! It is our only formal fundraising event and all proceeds directly support environmental education at the Bamberger Ranch.
